DATA ENTRY CLERK

This is a great job for someone who is self-motivated and has strong attention to detail. Ideal candidate will be organized and posses a professional demeanor. Keynote, Pages, Numbers, MS Word, Excel, Database Management Knowledge, Data Entry and Clerical Support skills are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering merchandise orders, product descriptions, pricing, product images
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information
  • Research and obtain further information when needed
  • Keep information confidential
  • Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs
  • Update databases with new information as it becomes available
  • Ensuring data is backed up
  • Review data for accuracy and errors
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate methods/procedures
  • Informing relevant parters regarding errors encountered
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

STOCK CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in the eye of the storm, keeping the stockrooms and sales floor organized, re-stocked and tidy
  • Record inventory data
  • Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock
  • Receive, count, and verify incoming orders
  • Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stamps
  • Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms
  • Process shipping requests, requisitions, or purchase orders
  • Distribute products or materials to store shelves, co-workers, or customers
  • Assist and direct other stock workers in their daily duties
  • Coordinate with co-workers to accomplish large tasks efficiently
  • Provide general support to the store including set up for special events, markdowns and relocation of fixtures
  • Process damaged or defective stock per company protocol
  • Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to management
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and requisitions
  • Prepare documents and reports for transactions or regulatory compliance
  • Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise

Duties and Responsibilities:
